The device is able to communicate simultaneously with 112 devices connected to the same bus. The maximum bus transmission speed is 1Mbit/s. The converter supports automatic handling of RTR (Remote Transmit Request) frames.

The device has a programmed operating mode of automatic extension of the CAN 2.0B interface frame to NX-CAN protocol frames to work with other Netronix devices, especially those designed for use in the NACS access control system.

The device has:

• 100Mbit / s Ethernet interface,
• CAN 2.0B serial interface configurable to 1Mbps,
• Green status LED indicating power on the device,
• Red status LED indicating activity on the serial interface,
• Return to factory settings button.

The device has been implemented:

• Web server for configuration, remote reset and device status view,
• DHCP client,
• NBNS support,
• Mechanism for finding devices on the network with dynamic assignment of network settings,
• TCP ↔ CAN 2.0B conversion server,
• TFTP server for remote firmware reloading
• ACL access control list for the web server and TCP ↔ CAN conversion server restricting access to the device only for selected IP addresses.
