UW-R4GB
UW-R4GB is wall mount RFID proximity card and transponders reader from the MIFARE® Classic, Plus, Ultralight C, DESFire, iCLASS (CSN only), ICODE® SLI (ISO 15693) families, operating at 13.56MHz frequency, equipped with an RS-485 and Wiegand interfaces. Reader has also built-in antenna, buzzer, relay, two LED indicatiors and RTC clock with battery backup and comunicate over interface via OSDP (the latest standard with data transmission encryption, described in more detail in the article), Modbus RTU or Netronix transmission protocols.
The reader has the following functionalities:
- Card memory with built-in lock controller,
- RS-485, Wiegand interface,
- OSDP, Modbus RTU and Netronix transmission protocol,
- Addressability on RS-485 bus,
- Built-in relay, buzzer,
- Built-in button on the front panel and signaling LEDs,
- Built-in button to return to factory settings,
- Built-in tamper with spring,
- Pin synchronizing readers working close to each other,
- Configuring binary inputs/outputs,
- Configuring the behavior of the buzzer, relay and LEDs,
- Controlling binary outputs,
- Reading binary inputs,
- Password-protected data,
- RTC clock with battery backup,
- Event memory with the possibility of masking trigger sources,
- Software update via RS-485 interface using the NEFIR program,
OSDP support
Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) is an access control application communication standard developed by the Security Industry Association (SIA) to improve the interoperability of access control products and their security.
SIA encourages the widespread adoption of this standard, which is already widely used by many leading manufacturers of access control devices. OSDP is recommended to be implemented for any access control installations that require a high degree of security and / or will be used in government facilities. The OSDP standard is especially valuable for government applications as it meets federal access control requirements such as PKI for FICAM.
