DISCOVERER is used to find Netronix devices in Ethernet local area networks.



Local Ethernet networks are often equipped with DHCP sever, which assigns dynamics IP addresses to devices. Frequently, it generates problems with finding given device in network. All Netronix products have implemented the mechanism of tracing device in network.

Thanks to it, it is possible to localize device and establish a connection to it. The Discoverer program uses the mechanism of finding a device in network, to display a list of all devices active in network.

The program allows to read-out:

  • IP address assigned statically or dynamically depending on network type,
  • device type,
  • physical MAC address assigned,
  • network name of the device,
  • monitoring of power enable events and assigning new IP address by DHCP server.

The program can run on any Windows system with .NET 3.5 development platform installed.
