Accessconfig is an application used to configure proximity card readers.
Accessconfig allows to read, write and modify card memory used for automatic access control. Each user can be defined with access rights indicating the privileges assigned to a given user. The program allows manual editing of RFID cards, as well as reading the card located in the field of the reader with which the program has established a connection. Using the program, it is possible to search the card database and check the name of the person to whom the card with a given ID number has been assigned.
The program allows you to configure all reader operating parameters, from communication interface settings, automatic card reading module operating modes, to the configuration of each of the device's input/output ports.
The graphical layout of the interface and the functioning of the program reflect the division of the device into functional modules, so understanding and configuring the reader using Accessconfig should be easier. The program allows you to easily duplicate the reader configuration by reading the configuration and then writing it to other readers protecting access to the same zone.
In addition to controlling the reader's operating parameters, the program provides functions such as: changing the reader's access password, changing the time or reading the reader's software version. Accessconfig uses the Netronix protocol to communicate with devices. Depending on the type of device interface or network architecture, communication may run through the serial interface of the computer on which the application runs or through the TCP/IP port.
