Regardless of whether it is a modernized or new facility, no modern swimming pool or gym can do without easy-to-use and safe locker systems for its guests. An essential element is the so-called pool cabinet controller, which, together with dedicated software, is used to manage the system, including: to assign transponders to users and register access to cabinets.
The controller has an executive function and can work in online mode (connecting to the software via the Ethernet interface) or completely autonomously in offline mode. What should characterize a modern pool controller is its modular design, enabling expansion, if necessary, with additional relay outputs controlling electromagnetic locks in each of the cabinets.
There are different types of pool locker systems. The most popular are systems using RFID technology. In such systems, transponders are usually in the form of proximity cards or bracelets. With this in mind, it is worth choosing a pool controller solution that supports this functionality by default. Netronix, as a company with over 25 years of experience in designing RFID access control systems, has developed a comprehensive ecosystem of devices for the application of swimming pool (locker room) lockers, including: MMSB1 and MMSB2 pool controllers, expansion modules (additional MMSBR-8 relay outputs, MSSBL displays) and 1-Wire RFID readers (UW-MDN or MW-R8B/G adapted to work on metal surfaces).
Pool cabinet controllers:
- Ethernet
- 16 independent outputs
- Support for up to 48 outputs with MSSBR-8 expansion module
MSSB1
MSSB1 is an access control controller module for cabinet locks. Provides 16 independent outputs, interface for connecting a proximity card reader, Ethernet interface for communication with an external supervisory system (online operation). It is also possible to work in offline mode - autonomous.
- Ethernet
- 24 independent outputs
- OSupport for up to 48 outputs with MSSBR-8 expansion module
MSSB2
MSSB2 is an access control controller module for cabinet locks. Provides 24 independent outputs, interface for connecting a proximity card reader, Ethernet interface for communication with an external supervisory system (online operation). It is also possible to work in offline mode - autonomous.
Functional extensions of swimming pool controllers::
MSSBR-8
MSSBR-8 is an extension module (extender) for the MSSB1 controller, containing 8 additional relays for lock control. It is possible to add a maximum of 4 modules, increasing the controller service by an additional 32 outputs.
MSSBL
MSSBL is an alphanumeric display module, giving the number of the currently opened cabinet.
Cooperating RFID readers:
Broadly understood subject of access control also includes applications such as access to lockers and storage compartments in cloakrooms located, among others in fitness clubs, swimming pools, sports clubs, universities or everywhere where there is a need to operate cloakroom systems with access granted on the basis of RFID proximity cards or transponders.
The market demand for this type of access solutions has resulted in the development of control devices for these specific applications.
